Hi! I'm Nicole!

This is my first time building a website and using code :) I'm super excited to see where this journey takes me and to share with you all my nerdy interests. I hope to share with you some of my writings, interests, hobbies, fashion, movie, music, and art inspirations! You can find some of my favorites in the tabs on the left.

I'm an artist and educator and love using different mediums and processes; right now I'm interested in learning more stop motion animation, mosaics, and 3-d sculpture. Although my main focus is creating comics.

My narrative works can transcend timelines and dimensions while evolving a dream-like folklore experience through usage of symbols as a way to communicate signs for us to interpret. Creating alternate realities that stem out of my observations allows people to reconsider how we function within the chaos. My work offers a hopeful avenue of possibilities in a world too often worn down with existential dread. Wanting to make the everyday experiences in life seem magical and surreal, I create comics to help interpret the world around me and inside of me.
